Our

Low-Income and Unhoused Sponsorship Initiative

Have you ever seen someone down on their luck and they have an animal in their care? You can see that animal is their lifeline but they don't have the means to care for the animal properly. Have you ever thought "I have the money, I could help sponsor this animal and get them the Veterinary care or supplies they need."

Welcome to our Low-Income and Unhoused Animal Sponsorship Initiative.

Mission

The very definition of "initiative" is "a new plan to solve a problem", "the power to act first" or "an independent readiness to take action".

When I think about this word, taking action, I think of doing good deeds (without being taken advantage of) and helping someone else and their beloved pet stay together.

How It Works

You can reach out via our email on the contact form below and we will reach out to our contacts to see if there is anyone who could use a helping hand or vice versa if you are someone needing the help.

When those individuals identify themselves, we will reach out to you for details on what care is needed and the cost estimate from the vet closest to them. This could be anything from monthly food pick ups, yearly vaccines and health exams, flea treatments, or larger surgeries/treatments. It could also be supplies like toys, leashes, collars, bowls, or a bed.

*To anyone wanting to sponsor, this is strictly doing a good deed for someone in need - there is no money or services being exchanged between parties - only through the vet office to pay the bill or buy the supplies and drop it off.

*Candidates receiving the care will be thoroughly vetted.
