Bio

Lulu was abandoned by his family after breaking his leg in a car accident. Almost eight years later, despite living locally, his former family have never returned or asked about him.

Lulu ultimately lost the leg, but had a very difficult experience with his first amputation and still needs the remaining stump removed. We would have this surgery completed before he was adopted.

Lulu is staunch, proud, loyal, loving — and extremely funny.

Don't make the mistake of thinking three legs have slowed him down. He has an enormous amount of energy and gets on with life with the determination of a dog who has absolutely no interest in being defined by what happened to him.

There is a softer side underneath all that bravado. Lulu has remained sensitive around his stump following his difficult first amputation experience, so he needs an extra-gentle family who will respect his body and make him feel safe.

After all these years, Lulu deserves something very different from the family who left him behind: someone who chooses him and keeps choosing him.
