Bio

Teddy came to us from Paradise Valley in 2020 when he was only around three months old. He was covered from head to toe in ticks and fleas. His first bath is something we'll never forget — even after repeatedly changing the water, it continued to run black.

He recovered physically, but Teddy has always been a shy and nervous soul. Shelter life wasn't the right environment for him, and he is now living in private foster.

Teddy is a gentle, loving dog who needs someone willing to give him the time he needs to come out of his shell.

He can be nervous and shy, so his adopter will need patience and an understanding that trust may not happen overnight. But once Teddy knows that you are his person, he is a stick-to-your-side kind of dog.

He doesn't need someone to change who he is. He needs someone who will give him the security and time to become the dog he can be.

He came to us as a tiny puppy and has spent virtually his entire life in our care. We'd really love the rest of that life to belong to him.
